Focus on Safety & Environmental Justice Elements

The City of Pinole welcomes you to a key Public Workshop on the Safety and Environmental Justice Elements that are part of the City’s General Plan on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Pinole Public Library (2935 Pinole Valley Road) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Organized by the Community Development Department with Michael Baker International, this hybrid event (in-person and Zoom) will discuss updates to the Safety Element and the introduction of a new Environmental Justice Element in the General Plan. Mandated by new State Housing Law, these updates incorporate the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and Health Element to advance equity and resilience.
