Temporary Dumpsite Open for Pinole Residents

Great News, Pinole! 🎉

🔔 July 18 @republic_services recycling and waste collection service update:

UPDATE 8: Republic Services will resume limited waste collection starting Saturday, July 19, with full services back by Monday, July 21!

Seniors or disabled individuals unable to drop off can call Bielle Moore at Republic Services: 510-262-7547 or email bmoore2@republicservices.com for a no-cost curbside pickup of up to 4 trash bags per household. 🚮

In the meantime, Republic Services advises:

✅ Place your garbage cart out with extra bagged trash—no additional charge for extra bags.
📅 Pickups may occur on non-scheduled days, so keep carts out until serviced.

Republic Services is servicing commercial, industrial, apartment complexes, small business and locations when notified that you need service.

City of Pinole Temporary Residential Drop-Off Location:

📍 651 Pinole Shores Dr, Pinole, CA 94564
– Drop off up to 2 bags of residential household trash.
– Hours: The dumpsite will be open 24/7 until it is full.
– No construction, vegetation/yard and bulky items or e-waste.

Republic Services Drop-Off Location:

📍 Golden Bear Transfer Station, 1 Parr Blvd, Richmond, CA 94801
– Drop off up to 4 bags of household trash free (Must show ID to confirm Pinole residency).
– Hours: Mon–Fri, 7 AM–5 PM; Sat, 9 AM–5 PM.
– No bulky items or e-waste.
– Alternatively, secure extra bags on your property for free pickup when service fully resumes.
– You can also get free sturdy trash bags at this facility.

Free heavy-duty garbage bags (up to 3 per household, first-come, first-serve) are available at City Hall, Pinole Police Department, and Pinole Senior Center. More bags will be provided if needed in the future.
