PCTV Performance Dashboard
Pinole Community TV: Transparency at a Glance
The City has developed the Pinole Community TV (PCTV) Performance Dashboard to provide a clear snapshot of how we’re engaging with the community and our viewers. This tool reflects our commitment to transparency by showing how we’re doing on key metrics that align with our strategic communication goals. By sharing this information openly, we ensure residents can see how PCTV is delivering on its mission to inform, connect, and serve the community.
PCTV Strategy Community Engagement Goals
In June 2025, the City presented PCTV’s Community Media Center Strategy which outlines our vision and the goals and objectives for how we will achieve this vision. Here is a summary of the community engagement goals reflected in the PCTV Performance Dashboard:
- Deliver Local Stories: Air programming that reflects Pinole’s news, culture, and unique perspectives. This includes community storytelling, live broadcasts of events and sports, and support for public access content.
- Encourage Community Participation: Promote the community bulletin board for announcements and establish ways to feature original content from local creators.
- Boost Awareness and Engagement: Implement a targeted outreach and marketing plan to increase visibility, promote PCTV services, and strengthen brand recognition.
- Measure and Improve: Track engagement and viewership through data and surveys to refine programming strategies and better serve the community.

The charts shown below illustrate online viewership and engagement since January 1, 2025 (this is when Pinole Community TV began offering online streaming channels). We’ve also included a snapshot of community media statistics such as programming and outreach over a 6-month period. Scroll through the interactive dashboard below to see where people are watching and what they’re watching.
What About Cable Viewership?
Pinole Community TV does not have access to data showing how many people watch our programs on cable. However, we know that our cable signals extend throughout West County, reaching Crockett, Rodeo, unincorporated areas of San Pablo and El Sobrante, and that is a potential reach of over 20,000 households.
