The City of Pinole is committed to making financial information open and accessible to the community. To support this goal, the City has launched the Pinole Budget Dashboard. 

This interactive, easy-to-use tool presents the City’s financial information visually — with charts, graphs, and numbers instead of spreadsheets — making it easier for residents to see how public funds are being managed.

Fiscal Transparency in Action

The City of Pinole manages its finances through a multi-fund accounting system. 

• The General Fund serves as the City’s primary operating fund, supporting day-to-day services and core operations. 
• Other funds are dedicated to specific purposes, such as water operations, parks, and capital improvements projects.
