Council Priorities Fiscal Year 2025-2026

An Aligned Vision

Earlier this year in February 2025, the Pinole City Council discussed strategic priorities for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 which are aimed at enhancing safety, sustainability, safety, community trust, and long-term infrastructure planning. The initiatives and priorities they identified reflect the Council’s commitment to transparency, quality of life improvements, and responsible stewardship of City resources. Council approved staff to address a list of key priorities as part of the FY 2025-2026 budget on May 6, 2025.

Building on its commitment to safety, sustainability, and strong city operations, the Pinole City Council also prioritized key projects that support essential infrastructure, employee well-being, and community resilience. These efforts include investments in public facilities, road safety initiatives, emergency preparedness, and programs that help residents directly, such as micro loans for sewer lateral repairs. Together, these priorities aim to ensure a well-maintained, responsive, and future-ready city for all who live and work in Pinole.
