Tiny Tots
The City of Pinole Community Services Department offers programs for children 3 to 5 years of age. Our mission is to provide an affordable, fun, learning experience for the preschool age children in our community and neighboring communities.
Pre-K programs
Our Monday-Friday Pre-Kindergarten programs are designed for 3–5-year-olds and introduce ideas and concepts they will need in kindergarten. This includes numbers (pre-math), letters (pre-reading), recognizing their printed name and writing it themselves.
These classes offer age-appropriate activities that include active play, academics, crafts, painting, circle time, show and tell, music, science, story time, and hands-on activities. We also offer further opportunities to develop their fine and large motor skills.
The Tiny Tots program runs through
August 24, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Monday – Friday | 9am-12pm
Holiday camps and break camps are not included. Separate registration will be required for break week camps and weekly summer camps.
Requirements:
Children must be 3 years old to join the program. All participants must be completely toilet-trained and out of diapers or pull ups.
Program Registration
A one-time non-refundable membership fee is due at the time of registration for the 2026-2027 Pre-K programs:
Pinole Resident: $180 | Non-Resident: $207
Proof of residency is required for Pinole resident rates (PG&E bill and driver’s license).
Program Fees
Pinole Resident: $600 per month per class
Non-Resident: $680 per month per class
Program Themes 26-27
Tiny Tots children will participate in themed program activities throughout the duration of the program:
Fall Colors: August 24 – November 13, 2026
Winter in the Arctic: November 16, 2026 – March 5, 2027
Spring Lifecycles: March 8 – June 4, 2027
How to Register for Tiny Tots 26-27 Programs
Priority registration is given to current participants and remaining spots will be available online on a first come first served basis.
Create an Account
Create a family account including yourself (adult) and your child. An adult must be added to the family account to make a payment. If you already have an account, you can simply log in.
Enroll your child in the Tiny Tots Membership
Your child must be enrolled in the Tiny Tots Membership that corresponds with the session you are registering for. (Ex: Tiny Tots Fall-Winter-Spring 2026/27 membership corresponds with the Tiny Tots Fall-Winter-Spring 2026/27 AM PreK and Afternoon Adventures.) Registration cannot be completed without the membership purchase. One membership fee is required per child. Summer and camp registrations excluded from membership fees.
Add a Class or Activity
- Add a class or activity to your cart by clicking on Programs.
- Filter to Pinole Tiny Tots in the left side column.
- Select the preferred class.
- Click Register.
Fill Out the Required Online Forms
Fill out the required online forms. Please be prepared to provide a copy of your driver’s license/CA ID (for Pinole resident rate) along with a wallet size photo during the first week of class. If you are currently enrolled, you may not need to complete this step.
Pay for Your Classes Online
Pay for your classes online. All camp fees are due at the time of enrollment.
Fall-Winter-Spring only – You may choose to only pay the membership fee at this time. A payment plan will be attached to your invoice and payments will then be due by the 1st of the month beginning in August.
Youth Camps (Ages 3-5)
Pinole camps are the perfect place to make new friends and explore engaging activities including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor fun! Camp runs daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Campers must be completely toilet trained (no pull-ups)
Activities include:
– Themed arts and crafts projects
– Sports and active outdoor play
– Musical activities
– Classic camp games
What campers should bring:
– Refillable water bottle
– Packed (Nut-Free) lunch & snacks
– Closed-toed shoes for safe play
– Jacket/ Coat for cool weather
